What’s better to do on a Wednesday October night than attending a fun time and Fellowship? River Oaks Christian Church is holding its Annual Fall Festival on Wednesday, October 28.

The Annual Fall Festival will take place on that Wednesday starting at 6 PM and will run until 8 PM. We encourage everyone to come out for fun, food and Fellowship during our Fall Festival this year!

What to expect:

River Oaks Christian Church loves bringing everyone together in the community and the Christian Church, especially the youth. There will be various foods, games, pumpkin decorating, and even a costume contest.

We will be judging the best girl and best boy, along with the best baby costume this year ranging from 0 to 2 years of age. Get your kiddies ready and come out and see some of the cutest costumes in Jenks! We encourage everyone who is participating to keep the costumes clean and nice. Adults are more than welcome to dress up too.

What supplies are needed:

The Christian Church would love help by bringing some of the essentials to guarantee a great turnout and Fall Festival. Some of the things needed for the festival are:

  • 2- small bales of straw or hay (this will be used throughout the festival)
  • 2-bags of apples
  • Bags of candy (we will take what you bring because it will never go to waste!)
  • Small pumpkins to decorate (everyone participating in decorating pumpkins for the Halloween spirit!)
  • 10 sheets of white poster board

The Fall Festival brings together the people of the Christian Church, but also the community members and children. It should be a great night for fall festivities and great Fellowship.

Being a part of the community at River Oaks Christian Church or even a guest for the weekend, you’ll feel welcomed and greatly appreciated for joining us on Sunday service. We offer great services on our website to guide you through our purpose and objective as a church family. This will also help you understand what we do and why we do it. We also offer children classes to adult classes on different nights of the week if you like a smaller group setting.

Other activities to look out for in October from River Oaks Christian Church:

Our series of Ten Words: A Study of the 10 Commandments is still going on. This series runs into November, so we still have plenty to talk about. Ten Words Series is held every Sunday service at 10:30 AM.

The Visiting Nurses Association will be coming into the church on Sunday, October 25 from 2 to 5 PM giving flu shots. There are various flu shots that will be given, and the VNA will work with your healthcare provider to ensure you’re able to receive the right ones under your healthcare plan. If you’re seeking out flu shots for you and/or your whole family, call the church to register at 918-299-3366.
